Vedantians in High Sporting Spirits

Vedanta Academy celebrated its 3rd Annual Sports Meet on 25th January,2020. The Spirit of Sportsmanship filled the air at Vedanta, as students showed their sporting strength in a multitude of events such as skating,silambam,yoga, aerobics and many more. The march past was indeed a real treat, with students marching in sync with the drum beat. The event was presided by Mr.Jangid IPS and Mr.Manigandan,International Boxing champion.

Culinary Experts at Vedanta !

Our little chefs of Pre-primary along with their parents hosted a first of its kind food festival called ‘Happy Belly’ where they got to dabble a bit in cooking and learn a lot about different cuisines around the world. The parents were super sportive and poured all their cooking talents into making delectable delicacies which were judged by Executive Chef Muthu Kumar, Accor Group of Hotels. The best dishes were also rewarded to appreciate their effort.

Rally for a Reason !

Students of Vedanta Academy rallied on the roads bearing painted placards to spread awareness on the importance of Going Green and promote a healthy environment to live in.The young activists had rallied from Porur to Iyyappanthangal with the sole motto of urging the public to embrace eco-friendly practices for a healthier and safer tomorrow. Students had created their own slogans to spread the word on organic farming, going green and clean and recycling to name a few.

The Animals Looked Fancy!

Our young Vedantians of grade 1 represented the ‘Animal Kingdom’ flaunting their fluffy furry animal costumes with charm. They stole the show with their adorable speech on saving animals and nailed it with their wild ramp walk.

Celebrating Culture @Vedanta

Students and Staff of Vedanta Academy had celebrated Pongal in style where they took pride in their tradition by painting the school in colourful rangoli, trying their hand at uriyadi, enjoying a breezy bullock cart ride and feasting with a variety of delicacies at the food stalls. It was a real spectacle to see the students clad in traditional pattu pavadai and vetti sattai.It was a great way to instil traditional values and reinforce the significance of our deeply rooted culture in students.
